About the role

  • Reporting to the Director of Technical Services and Innovation, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for the professional management and successful completion of assigned capital expenditure projects for Centurion Property Associates in accordance with pre-established budgets and timelines.
  • The Senior Project Manager is accountable for the administration of all related resources, contracts, tools and supplies to ensure Centurion Asset Management Inc. | Centurion Property Associates Inc. real property assets are effectively and efficiently maintained to established standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Centurion Apartment Real Estate Investment Trust ("REIT") owns more than 22,000 multi-family apartment units and student housing beds across 46 cities in Canada and the United States.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree in construction management, project management, engineering, facility management, quantity surveying or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in project/facilities/construction management
  • Multi-residential operations or project management experience with a national portfolio would be an asset
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong ability to multi-tasks
  • Strong follow-up skills with the ability to effectively resolve difficult issues in a timely manner
  • Experience with Yardi property management systems and Smartsheet is considered an asset.

Compensation

  • In cooperation with insurance entities, assist with the completion of quarterly or annual risk assessments, incorporate into capital or operations planning and implement as required to mitigate risk.
