About the role

  • This position is intended to be in Pharmacy Technician instruction.
  • This position is also responsible for clinical placements for students completing the Pharmacy Technician program.
  • Attends faculty meetings as called by the President, Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs, Dean, or Department Chairperson; and participates, as appropriate, on departmental and divisional committees.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain accurate syllabi incorporating departmental, college, cross-college, and instructor requirements.
  • Participates in selecting appropriate materials to support course curriculum per the College's guidelines.
  • Employs and assists in designing and developing appropriate assessment techniques to measure students' performance in achieving course goals and objectives.
  • Maintains posted office hours per departmental and policies of the College.

Requirements

  • One (1) year of teaching or training or preceptor experience with current knowledge in the areas in which they are instructing.
  • State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or demonstrable ability to gain access to work site(s).

Compensation

  • 9-Month Lecturers Salary*: $43,848.00 - $50,112.00
  • Autumn/Spring: $21,924 (21 hrs.) - $25,056 (24 hrs.)
  • Optional Summer Semester (15-21contact hours): $15,660.00 - $21,924.00
  • Optional Overload (maximum amounts shown):
  • Autumn Semester (6 contact hours max): $5,865.00
  • Spring Semester (6 contact hours max): $5,865.00
