About the role
- LCSW acts as an advocate and helps clients gain access to resources while confronting their personal issues, such as mental illness, addiction, and abuse.
- The profession requires emotional resilience and stability since the work often involves dealing with crises.
- Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; Some Saturday's as needed.
Responsibilities
- Always maintain ethical and professional behavior.
- Manage a case load of therapy and group treatment patient (adults &Adolescents, children) 25 and over clients.
- Attend workshops, conference, and meetings to uphold license/certifications and develop more knowledge.
Requirements
- Degree: Master's Degree Social Work with North Carolina State Board of Social Work with licensure (must be fully licensed/certified)
- LCSW is expected to behave ethically and professionally, demonstrate excellent communication skills and be capable of working with diverse populations. must be able to collaborate well with others.
