About the role

The Supported Living Program Manager oversees Direct Support Professionals, Lead DSPs, and, when applicable, Assistant Program Managers.
The Program Manager is responsible for the daily operation of Supported Living services and works with ISP Teams and supported individuals to ensure quality services and supports that promote independence and community inclusion.

Evaluate and document the performance of Support Staff routinely.
Ensure that the individuals' quality of life is in keeping with Home Life philosophy and values, policies, and procedures by assisting in coordinating, training, and enforcing staff support.
Directly supervise a group of staff as assigned and manage a set caseload of supported individuals.
Follow the Individual Support Plan(s) and protocols of supported individuals as outlined by the ISP team.

Eligibility for Employment Ability to pass an initial criminal history check from the Department of Human Services Criminal Records Unit and recheck every 2 years after.
Be a citizen of the United States or legally able to work in the United States Must be at least eighteen years old and hold a current driving license, insurance, and a good driving record.
Experience or willingness to learn leadership and teaching skills.
Experience in recording documentation and data.
Experience with problem-solving and mediation.
Experience with or ability to learn progressive discipline actions and performance feedback.
Ability to utilize conflict resolution skills and respond appropriately to supervision, feedback, and performance expectations.
Demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and make informed decisions consistent with agency policies and procedures.
Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions, including applicable Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs).
Ability to work with diverse populations.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Development, Psychology, or related field.
Knowledge of the Oregon Developmental Disabilities Services and Adult I/DD Case Management systems.
At least 6 months of management or supervisory-related experience.
Experience using online systems, such as "When to Work", eXPRS, and Therap.
Duties & Responsibilities: Supervisory Responsibilities Organize and facilitate staff meetings.
Follow up with disciplinary training in the event that a staff person is not performing their job according to acceptable criteria.
Give timely positive feedback verbally or in writing in the event that a staff person is meeting or exceeding criteria.
Submit all written feedback to the Services Coordinator.

Ensure that the supported individuals' medical needs are met according to their ISP and support needs.
If applicable, become delegated to perform medical tasks by a licensed, contracted Registered Nurse and ensure that staff are adequately trained.
Ensure that medications and health supplies are maintained at an adequate supply level as applicable.
Schedule and accompany clients to medical appointments (or delegates to DSP when appropriate) and complete all corresponding paperwork.
Notify the ISP team if new supports are necessary in maintaining individuals' health and safety.
Adhere to all policies, rules, and procedures of Home Life, Oregon Developmental Disability Services, DHS, and Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR).

Pulling, reaching, repositioning, carrying, pushing, operating a wheelchair van and lift, applying physical holds (as per Oregon Intervention System OIS instruction), and other duties as needed with or without reasonable accommodation.
