About the role
- The Director of Planning and Business Operations will play a critical leadership role in guiding eBay's next level of growth and transformation.
- The Business Operations and Planning organization acts as the connective tissue of the enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full planning process and collaborate across teams. Ensure roadmaps and plans are delivered on time and align with the company's direction.
- Coordinate and guide the weekly business review for the company with finance and other functions. Ensure we build a shared understanding of performance, encourage the right discussions about performance, and provide the appropriate insights on the business.
- Lead outreach, relationships and manage communications with internal stakeholders across functions and teams to source and maintain pulse on the business (breadth)
- Proactively lead and drive deep dives into business performance issues by anticipating inquiries and launching analysis in partnership with other stakeholders and bringing strategic insights to leadership (depth)
- Experience building and leading a team

- Ensure roadmaps and plans are delivered on time and align with the company's direction.
- Set the approach and process for defining Company, Executive Leadership, and Priority level objectives and goals
- Coordinate and guide the weekly business review for the company with finance and other functions.
- 10+ years of experience in Planning, Business Operations, strategic finance, consulting or a similar strategic function.
- Experience in eCommerce or Technology space a plus
- Proven track record of leading, collaborating and influencing across large and complex global organizations
- Capable of flexing between high level strategic concepts & frameworks to getting into the details
- Great with numbers and metrics, can absorb both quantitative and qualitative information, synthesize, and strategically summarize takeaways ready for executives
