About the role
- Greet internal and external customers, in person or via phone and email.
- Serve as the liaison between the customer and the appropriate individual regarding GED®/HSED, English Language Learner (ELL), and Career Pathways Bridge (CPB) programming.
- Act as resource person for faculty, administration and staff.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage administrative tasks and support daily operations with minimal supervision.
- Manage text campaigns to students including the development of messages, sending messages, and responding and taking action based on responses from students.
- Enter and maintain accurate student data such as enrollments, attendance, test scores, etc. in the client reporting system for GED®/HSED and ELL programming.
- Working collaboratively with support and administrative staff, this position handles daily office tasks, provides faculty support, and delivers high-quality customer service to students and the public.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 years working in an office environment.
- Flexibility required to include other hours, as necessary.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer or attending meetings
- Ability to move around the campus to attend meetings and events
- Proficiency in using hands and fingers to handle or operate office equipment, tools, or controls.
Nice to have
- Administrative Assistant or Office Assistant degree is preferred.
