Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with retail and wholesale brokers to increase submission flow and deliver appropriate insurance solutions for risks.
- Partnering with Claims, Risk Management, Actuarial, and Senior Leadership teams to evaluate and develop insurance solutions, emerging risks, and market opportunities.
- Monitoring MPL market trends and jurisdictional developments to maintain competitive positioning, create new business opportunities, and strengthen FAIRCO's leadership in the market.
- Collaborate actively.
- Be accountable, manage risk and deliver TransRe's strengths
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial liability underwriting experience in the Excess & Surplus (E&S) market.
- The ideal candidate combines the underwriting discipline to adapt and underwrite across both platforms applying market insight and underwriting expertise to shape the portfolio.
Nice to have
- RPLU, or other industry designations, a plus.
