About the role

include designing, testing, documenting, validation and verification of new and existing test systems.

Develop test methods and procedures to support manual and automated testing of ZOLL products
Design, document, update and validate and improvements for custom test hardware and software used in ZOLL test stations
Prototype, build and debug circuit boards, cables and other components for use in ZOLL test systems
Document test results and analyze data using statistical tools to prepare technical reports
Support continuous improvement initiatives for ZOLL product testing while ensuring good manufacturing practices (cGMP) are maintained

Debug test fixtures and systems using common lab equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, DMMs, function generators, etc.)
Bachelor's Degree Science Degree (EE, ME, preferred) required
0-2 years of engineering, technical or manufacturing experience required
Experience with analog and digital circuitry preferred, high-voltage a plus
Familiar with basic engineering lab equipment and measurement instruments (e.g., oscilloscopes, DMMs, function generators, etc.)
Experience with test automation software such as LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, C/C# a plus

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Basic electro-mechanical skills, to include assembly, dis-assembly and repair assemblies
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

$80,000.00 to $90,000.00
Factors which may affect starting salary include geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
For fully remote positions, compensation will comply with all applicable federal, state, and local wage laws, including minimum wage requirements, based on the employee's primary work location.

The 'Test Development Engineer 1' will support development of advanced test systems and methodologies for ZOLL medical devices.
