About the role
- As a 3rd Shift Maintenance Supervisor at Wheatland Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, you will oversee the maintenance team and ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of all plant equipment.
- This role is onsite and located in Rochelle, IL.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve equipment longevity.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of maintenance processes.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to support seamless operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Proven ability to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in steel manufacturing or heavy industry.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience leading a maintenance team.
- Associate degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance, mechanical engineering, or a related field
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and industrial safety best practices.
- Leads and promotes healthy and safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and Company policy.

Nice to have
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- welding and fabrication experience a plus.

- Below is the expected base salary range for this position.
