About the role
- The Editorial Photo Retoucher is responsible for elevating campaign, social, homepage, and special project imagery to a premium, fashion-forward standard.
- This role ensures all photography reflects a cohesive, aspirational brand aesthetic while maintaining realism, texture integrity, and speed.
- This position sits within Creative and works closely with Art Directors, Photographers, Designers, and Social.
Responsibilities
- Create multiple color variants of a single product image as needed for product lines or promotional use.
- Name and maintain digital asset file|structure organization
- Crop digital photographic images|maintain file size specification guidelines
- Perform quality assurance on all images
- Strong knowledge of color theory, with the ability to perform color corrections, adjustments, and creative color grading to enhance product imagery.
- Passionate about teamwork and team building
Requirements
- Proven experience in photo retouching and color manipulation, with a strong portfolio demonstrating before-and-after examples
- Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite and Photoshop
- Knowledge of studio photography and lighting practices, as well as photographic vocabulary and terms.
- BA degree in Photography or equivalent work experience
- Strong understanding of modern editorial fashion retouching
Nice to have
- Two plus years of experience as a Photo Retoucher in a studio environment, ideally in the Fashion eCommerce industry
