About the role
- Reporting to the Bridge Sector Manager, this position requires strong technical expertise, proven project management experience, and an in-depth understanding of the regional bridge market.
Responsibilities
- Manage bridge engineering projects from concept through completion, including scope, budget, and schedule development.
- Oversee preparation of design documents, specifications, and cost estimates for bridge and highway projects.
- Supervise, mentor, and support the professional growth of engineering staff.
- Support regional business development initiatives to expand TYLin's market presence.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry organizations.
- Lead proposal development efforts and contribute to strategic pursuits across TYLin's bridge and transportation teams.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in bridge design and project management, with significant local project experience.
- Proven success delivering complex bridge projects and leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong understanding of AASHTO and NYSDOT Highway Bridge design standards.
- Established relationships with regional engineering clients and public agencies.
- Strong technical judgment, stellar communication, and a collaborative mindset.

- TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $127,000 - $192,000 annually for this position and local market.
