About the role

  • About Redwood Materials Redwood is localizing a global battery supply chain that seamlessly integrates recovery, reuse, and recycling - keeping critical minerals in circulation and driving the energy transition.
  • In this role, this individual will also have a focus on electrical troubleshooting, repair and light electrical construction activities.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain facility infrastructure electrical systems including medium and low voltage equipment and distribution.
  • Troubleshoot and provide maintenance support for electrical systems and equipment as needed.
  • Manage basic projects and provide oversight of contractors and 3rd party work.
  • Create and implement basic facilities Standard Work Instructions.
  • Work cross functionally across our operations teams on a variety of projects to support team growth and our continuous improvement goals.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
  • Must be able to bend, lift, and carry objects over 50 lbs..
  • Must be able to walk up and down stairs carrying weight.
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
  • Journeyman Electrician license in Nevada or 8+ years as a qualified electrical worker in manufacturing, mining, or power generation.
  • At least two years of experience supporting Facilities Maintenance, Operations or Production organizations.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy materials (
  • The role requires an eye for quality and the ability to execute on multiple tasks with minimal oversight.

Nice to have

  • Operate cranes, forklifts, and small construction equipment.
  • Work on non-electrical equipment as required to support the larger team's goals.
  • Complete daily tasks list and facilities work requests.
  • Respond to and troubleshoot general facilities issues.
