About the role
- ANNOUNCMENT OF POSITION VACANCY ABOUT THIS POSITION Summary: Colorado Mesa University is seeking qualified Adjunct Lecturer applicants for the Department of Health Sciences.
- This position is responsible for teaching class, lab and/or clinicals.
- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Responsibilities
- Ability to effectively present information to students, colleagues, and clinical partners.
Requirements
- At least two years as a professional nurse with at least 1 year of experience in the area in which they teach.
- Must have a graduate degree (a minimum of a MSN) from a nationally accredited school to teach didactic.
- Bachelor's degree required from an accredited school, in the area in which you teach. (Note: For didactic courses, faculty must hold at least one degree level above the level of the program being taught.)
- At least one year of experience in the specialty in which you teach.
- Nursing Minimum Qualifications Required:
- Applicant must be able to verify U.S. employment eligibility.
Nice to have
- Graduate degree preferred.
- Experience serving as or working with clinical preceptors.
- Experience in teaching online, in person, and in simulated environments.
- Experience with creating and/or revising online assessment & evaluation methods and technology.
- Experience and understanding of student and/or patient confidentiality.
- In addition, please be prepared to upload a:

Compensation
- $600-$850 per credit hour.
