About the role

Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network.
In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week.
These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content.

Own the Stream: Serve as the face and voice of our night and weekend streaming audience, balancing real-time, "happening right now" updates with forward-thinking, creative content.
Master the Tech: We will train you to operate a TriCaster, empowering you to independently produce, direct, and anchor your very own streaming broadcasts.
Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and think several steps ahead.
Ability to thrive under pressure and pivot quickly as news develops.

Strong knowledge of current events
Proven ability to communicate clearly and confidently both on-air and behind the scenes in a fast-paced, unscripted breaking news environment.
Professional Background: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience as a streaming producer, MMJ or Reporter.
On-Camera Presence: Excellent on-camera delivery and communication skills are required.
Writing Mastery: Flawless writing and copy-editing skills, with proficiency in English grammar and conversational broadcast style.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with video production technology, including non-linear editing (Adobe Premiere Pro) and video switching tools.
Physicality: Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and reach
must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
Schedule: Must be able to work varied hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, and during severe weather situations.
Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience as a streaming producer, MMJ or Reporter.

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
Technical & Professional Skills
Basic experience with digital news production, live streaming workflows, and newsroom technologies.
Familiarity of TriCaster a plus, but willingness and ability to learn technology quickly is a must.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $60,000.00-62,000.00 annually.

Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, and color vision, as well as the ability to adjust focus.
This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
