About the role
- Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network.
- In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week.
- These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content.
Responsibilities
- Own the Stream: Serve as the face and voice of our night and weekend streaming audience, balancing real-time, "happening right now" updates with forward-thinking, creative content.
- Master the Tech: We will train you to operate a TriCaster, empowering you to independently produce, direct, and anchor your very own streaming broadcasts.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and think several steps ahead.

Requirements
- Strong knowledge of current events
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and confidently both on-air and behind the scenes in a fast-paced, unscripted breaking news environment.
- Professional Background: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience as a streaming producer, MMJ or Reporter.
- On-Camera Presence: Excellent on-camera delivery and communication skills are required.
- Writing Mastery: Flawless writing and copy-editing skills, with proficiency in English grammar and conversational broadcast style.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with video production technology, including non-linear editing (Adobe Premiere Pro) and video switching tools.
- Physicality: Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and reach
- must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- Schedule: Must be able to work varied hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, and during severe weather situations.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience as a streaming producer, MMJ or Reporter.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
- Technical & Professional Skills
- Basic experience with digital news production, live streaming workflows, and newsroom technologies.
- Familiarity of TriCaster a plus, but willingness and ability to learn technology quickly is a must.
Compensation
- Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $60,000.00-62,000.00 annually.
