About the role
- Our client is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join their rehabilitation team.
- Administer treatment programs as prescribed by the Occupational Therapist.
- Assist with obtaining participant vital signs, range of motion, and strength testing.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to implement therapeutic activities tailored to each participant's needs.
- Schedule participant treatments, manage clinical visits, and assist with billing processes.
- Monitor, track, and maintain therapy equipment.
- The COTA will collaborate with therapists and other care team members to carry out individualized care plans designed to support each participant's functional abilities.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
- For degrees earned outside the U.S., proof of equivalency to a U.S. Occupational Therapy Assistant degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a COTA in a clinical setting, preferably working with frail or elderly populations.
Compensation
- Medical insurance coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision) 17 days of personal time off (PTO), 12 holidays observed annually and sick time 401 K savings + match Total compensation includes base, bonus, and equity Salary - $35.87-$47.36 / hr. (USD)
