About the role

  • Technicians, vendors, contractors, or management to aid in the problem resolution process.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance as well as troubleshoot equipment problems. Respond to Technical Support calls in a prompt manner to ensure timely resolution.
  • Appropriately logs all support calls into technician tracking system (RPM, CLS or other) to ensure all work time and parts are appropriately accounted for.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Preferably 3 years' experience within a production environment with resultant knowledge of equipment repair.
  • Proven proficiency in the operation and repair of high-speed production equipment is optimal.
  • Ability to take directions and to work effectively under time constraints is necessary.
  • Ability to stand while working through-out the duration of assigned shift.
  • Ability to lift, carry and move 25+lbs., through-out duration of the assigned shift.
  • They exhibit the ability to resolve repairs and know when to escalate the issue to enlist the expertise of Sr.
  • Relocate production equipment and support the installation of new equipment as required by management.
  • High school diploma or equivalent and/or technical/vocational education.
  • Preferrable to have vendor/equipment repair certification for at least one of Broadridge's insertion platforms (e.g., Blue Crest, Bowe, Buhrs, etc.).
  • Preferably 3 years' experience within a production environment with resultant knowledge of equipment repair. Proven proficiency in the operation and repair of high-speed production equipment is optimal.
  • Must possess good oral and written communication skills. Ability to take directions and to work effectively under time constraints is necessary.
  • Compensation & Benefits:
  • Hourly Rate: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience
  • Bonus Eligible
  • Annual Bonus: $1,250 bonus recurring every year.
