Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain anesthesia machines, monitoring equipment, and surgical instruments
  • Accurately document anesthesia records and perioperative care
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons and the specialty team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
  • This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside Board-Certified Surgeons and help build a new specialty practice from the ground up.

Requirements

  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in surgery and anesthesia
  • Experience managing anesthesia for ASA III and higher-risk patients
  • Strong understanding of anesthetic monitoring, including:
  • Ability to recognize and respond to anesthetic complications
  • Familiarity with anesthesia machines, monitoring equipment, and accurate perioperative documentation
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. All current positions require the ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
  • Additional fluency in other languages is preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in anesthetic induction, intubation, monitoring, and recovery
  • Blood pressure
  • Capnography
  • Temperature monitoring
  • Skilled in surgical preparation, patient positioning, and maintaining sterile technique
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to collaborate with surgeons and specialty team members

Nice to have

  • Specialty hospital experience preferred, but not required

Compensation

  • $28.00-$35.00 per hour, based on experience
  • Highly competitive salary based on experience
