About the role
- All other job related duties as assigned.
- Education & Training: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited medical assistant diploma program.
Skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of clinical operations.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Willingness to participate in continuing medical education.
- Word processing and/or data entry skills.
- Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements.
- Ability to interact and communicate with people in person and over the telephone, often in stressful situations.
- Must be able to utilize personal protective equipment such as gloves, gown, mask, etc.
