  • Laboratory Analyst I - Kansas City, MO YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Involves conducting chemical and physical analyses in a production site laboratory.
  • Identify and communicate operational issues of laboratory instruments and equipment KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Additionally, the role supports GMP operations through computer system validation, method validation, raw data control and archiving, and the creation of GMP documents and regulations.
  • Perform routine analytical testing as directed by protocols and work instructions;
  • Maintain knowledge of RCRA hazardous waste regulations, waste determinations, waste codes, and how to immediately communicate the discovery of spills and leaks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma + a minimum of 1 year of lab experience;
  • Close attention to details and an ability to analyze outcomes against a standard;
  • Ability to diagnose the typical instrument problems with little or no assistance and provide assistance to others;
  • Ability to work: days, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs require.
  • Search various databases for test methods, specifications, and standards to locate information required to complete analyses;

Nice to have

  • 3+ years of laboratory experience;
  • Understands basic HPLC and GC operation.
