About the role
- The Supervisor will offer motivation, encouragement, and resources to the team members.
- Assists individual team members to set and accomplish goals.
- Train and certify team members on all applicable processes and essential skills related to Utilization Management.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for supervising/ coaching/ mentoring STAR/ CHIP/ or STAR Kids workgroups (Pods) comprised of UM/ECM RN and support staff to achieve department goals and objectives.

Nice to have
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- RN License in Texas.
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience.
- 2 years of Utilization Management experience required.
- 1 to 2 years' experience in a supervisory role preferred.
- Proficiency in use of computer applications and typing speed (35 words per minute minimum).
Skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
