About the role

  • As a Contracts Manager, you will lead development and execution of commercial strategy of assigned products and/or markets and contractual strategy, stewards of the strategy of the business units.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and analyze organizational strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and risks within the COGMD business unit, developing strategies that support business objectives and operational excellence.
  • Lead and coordinate the daily activities of employees responsible for contract negotiation, execution, and administration while ensuring effective resolution of customer concerns and escalations.
  • Develop, implement, and manage a contract approval framework aligned with COGMD's business strategy, governance requirements, and risk management standards.
  • Partner cross-functionally to balance customer requirements, operational capabilities, and organizational priorities, driving timely decisions and successful outcomes.
  • Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
  • Globally, we deliver engineered oilfield and drilling equipment repair and certification, mechanical and rotating equipment repairs and upgrades, rapid prototyping of spare parts, robust asset management, operation and maintenance and field engineering services.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
  • Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques
  • ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
  • ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques
  • ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner.
  • Knowledge of relationship management techniques

Nice to have

  • 10+ years of related contract management experience.
  • Previous leadership experience with demonstrated coaching and people development responsibilities.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • $159,120.00 - $238,680.00
