About the role

  • Our client, a publicly traded digital health company leveraging technology and AI to transform care delivery, has exclusively retained Solutus Legal Search to assist the executives in their search for a Commercial Counsel.
  • This role reports to the Associate General Counsel, Commercial and will be located in San Francisco, CA.
  • The role is highly integrated with the business and focuses on enabling efficient deal execution while balancing legal and regulatory risk.

Responsibilities

  • Leading contract review and negotiation efforts in support of commercial and procurement activities, serving as a primary legal partner to business stakeholders.
  • Identifying and mitigating legal and business risks in commercial agreements, while providing practical, solutions-oriented guidance to drive transactions forward.
  • Designing and improving contract templates, playbooks, and workflows to increase efficiency and scalability, including supporting contract management systems and training business partners.
  • Strong judgment, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements

  • Experience with contract lifecycle management systems and an interest in leveraging technology, including AI tools, to improve legal processes.

Compensation

  • The role offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $179,000 – $268,800, together with eligibility for equity participation.
