Requirements
- Bachelor of Commerce or Business degree with a major in Accounting or Finance.
- The ability to automate and improve processes, with an interest in technical solutions and continuous process improvement.
- In order to be considered for this role you must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

- Overtime hours required during peak periods.

- Hours of Work: 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week

- Coordinating the corporate general and administrative (G&A) annual budget and quarterly forecasting process across a portfolio of our Corporate G&A teams, including headcount.
- Acting as a business partner with senior-level corporate G&A budget owners, which includes supporting and training new leaders on the G&A budget and forecast process and providing training on the use of Power BI reports.
- Support accounting and reporting for business development projects, including invoice processing and preparing project related journal entries.
- Providing input into the design and implementation of G/L coding and structure for corporate costs, while streamlining the account structure for corporate costs.
- Analyzing corporate G&A variances to budget, forecast and prior year which are reported to the Executive Team, and reported in the MD&A.
- Preparing month-end journal entries, ensuring all leases, intercompany transactions, and applicable corporate G&A-related transactions are accurately recorded.
- Preparing monthly intercompany reconciliations and working cross-functionally with the various Finance teams to resolve any discrepancies.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate corporate G&A reporting.
- Providing input and recommendations on ways to optimize processes, timelines, and flow of information.
- Developing and maintaining enterprise-level reporting using tools such as Power BI.
- Contributing to the Shared Services team by maintaining and implementing internal controls around Information Produced by the Entity (IPE) controls key business reports used by the team.
