About the role

- Lead and manage a team of 4-6 direct reports comprised of sourcing professionals, who develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for business unit or commodity groups
- Set team objectives, performance metrics, and targets for sourcing initiatives (e.g. cost savings, supplier assurance, etc)

Build and maintain executive-level supplier relationships
Drive organizational change and process improvements
Develop talent through coaching, performance management, and succession planning
Collaborate with other departments on strategic initiatives, such as S&OP, capital planning, and executive reviews

Minimum 3 years of people management experience
Proven track record of delivering significant cost savings/supply assurance initiatives at the portfolio level (multi-category)
Proven success setting team objectives, performance metrics, and targets for sourcing initiatives - and holding a team accountable for results
Track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from strategy through implementation
Executive presence and strategic communication skills, with the ability to engage senior leadership across Engineering, Operations, Finance, and the executive team
Strong understanding of sourcing policies, ethical standards, and compliance requirements

Bachelor's degree required in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
MBA or advanced degree preferred
8+ years of progressive global strategic sourcing experience, with manufacturing industry experience preferred
