About the role
- Clinical Fellowship in Speech Language Pathology The Helix School is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellow (CF) for the 2026-2027 school year and beyond.
- This school-based SLP CF position serves autistic students ages 5-22 and includes on-site supervision, interdisciplinary collaboration, and training in IEPs, AAC, and developmental approaches.
- Mentorship you can count on - On-site supervision, training in IEPs/SEIS, and regular coaching built into your week.
Responsibilities
- Support communication in natural settings (snack, lunch, community outings)
- Participate in IEP meetings and write progress notes with support from your mentor SLP
- Partner with teachers and staff on communication strategies and AAC integration
Requirements
- Specialization in autism & AAC - Gain hands-on experience with neurodivergent students (ages 5-22), augmentative & alternative communication, and developmental/relationship-based approaches.
- Experience with AAC.
