Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage purchase orders for direct and indirect materials, ensuring accuracy, approvals, and timely placement
- Procure materials based on MRP, Min/Max levels, and demand signals to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Monitor supplier delivery performance, manage subcontractors, expedite critical orders, and escalate issues impacting production
- Source materials and services to support internal needs while building and maintaining effective supplier relationships
- Collaborate with Planning, Production, Quality, and Engineering to ensure material availability, specifications, and documentation meet requirements
- Support supplier performance tracking, basic negotiations, and continuous improvement initiatives using purchasing data and KPIs
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
- This position is responsible for sourcing and purchasing of direct materials and some minor indirect materials and services to support organizational needs.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years' experience in a purchasing environment or related field required.
- Experience with MRP system
- Occasional travel required.
- Position may be required to use Personal Protective Equipment as posted.
Nice to have
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Manufacturing experience preferred.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- The salary range for this position is $67,303.53 - $87,494.59 and is bonus eligible.
