About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the tax compliance needs of clients, including complex tax returns and tax provision engagements.
  • Conduct and document tax research and interpret and apply tax legislation.
  • Lead tax engagement teams and provide value-added consulting solutions.
  • Manage multiple engagements concurrently with strong project management skills.
  • Deliver presentations and training, sharing your expertise internally and externally.
  • Manage complex tax engagements and mentor the next generation of tax professionals.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years' experience in corporate tax research, consulting, and compliance within a professional services firm, with at least one year in a leadership role.
  • Experience in client management, team leadership, and engagement documentation.
  • CPA designation.
  • Completion (or progress towards completion) of the CPA In-Depth Tax Course, Parts I, II, and III.
  • Strong focus on tax planning and advisory.
  • Superior verbal, written, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with excellent organizational skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Passion for public accounting and a collaborative team environment.
