About the role
- Assertive Professionals is seeking a Open Source Collection Specialist supporting our National Security customer in Washington, DC.
- Available shifts include Sunday through Wednesday (Swing) and Wednesday through Saturday (Night).
- The salary for this position is $110,000.
Responsibilities
- The Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analyst / Watch Officer will provide 24/7/365 operational intelligence support to the National Security Customer through rotational
- The OSINT Analyst / Watch Officer will support the development of OSINT collection plans, methodologies, and analytical procedures to adapt to evolving mission requirements and maximize operational success.
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
- Degree from an accredited institution
- With a degree from an accredited institution in an area applicable to the position: 3.
- 10 years of relevant experience
- With a degree from an accredited institution in an area not relevant to the position: 7.
- 14 years of relevant experience
- Experience working with the National Security Customer's data sources
- Knowledge of the National Security Customer's intelligence authorities, the organization's component missions, and the role of the organization in supporting the National Security Customer's Intelligence Enterprise
- Knowledge of the overall organization's intelligence research, analysis, and production process.
- Knowledge of multiple open source areas, including surface, deep, and dark web.
- Active TS/SCI
- Six (6) years of prior experience performing Open Source Collection for tactical/operational support.
- Intelligence Community (IC) experience
- National Security Customer-specific intelligence analysis experience
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution preferred in International Studies, Intelligence, Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, or other related concentration.

- The salary for this position is $110,000.
