Responsibilities
- Lead team of systems and electrical engineers in behavior modeling and requirements decomposition for system, sub-system, and software design
- Drive integrated solutions and advocate for quality and consistency across the overall ground system design
- Utilize Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools to document designs and provide traceability to project requirements
- Partner with solution leads to develop and own execution plans to program milestones
- Solve problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle
- Collaborate with engineering teams that have significant interdependencies with ground systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
- To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
- This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
- Travel may be required up to 10% of the time
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 3+ years of experience with defining system architecture and requirements or verification and validation activities
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as CAMEO or similar Systems Modeling Language (SysML)-compatible tool for systems architecture and model development
- Experience with Mission Systems architectures and Open Missions Systems (OMS) and/or Universal Command and Control Interface (UCI)
Compensation
- $136,850 - $185,150
- Summary pay range: $136,850 - $185,150
