About the role
- The role is responsible for construction project and renovation space planning, estimation, scheduling, and resourcing.
- The ideal candidate for this role has proven ability to identify and resolve issues resourcefully and independently, and will work to understand key business drivers, applying this knowledge to decision making.

Responsibilities
- Developing options for facility renovations and creating reports and presentations on proposals
- Partnering closely with Leadership to align the project strategy to support business development plans and initiatives
- Partnering with Procurement to create and execute contracts and purchase orders
Requirements
- Typically requires a minimum of 2-5 years of related experience
- Must be able to create, read, and understand construction drawings and specifications, and to prepare diagrams, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and schedules
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project)
- Experience with Revit, CAD drafting and Bluebeam advantageous
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or other related discipline required.
- Must understand principles and practices of construction and contract administration, architectural and engineering disciplines
- Strong design and graphic presentation skills; able to lead and present to and interface with clients and consultants.
- Must work well independently in a highly collaborative environment with minimal direction
- Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking problem-solving skills
- Candidate should understand trends and best practices that shape laboratory environments including, casework, equipment, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and Control Areas,
- Experience with Laboratory and Environment, Health and Safety standards advantageous
Nice to have
- Experience working in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry preferred
Compensation
- The estimated base salary range for the Facilities Project Planner role based in the United States of America is: $74,900 - $112,300.
- Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly.
