- Daikin Applied is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a top-tier leadership role responsible for the end-to-end delivery of large-scale, high-value strategic projects across multiple sites.
- This position focuses on complex capital investments exceeding $15M, including capacity expansions, new facility dev elopmen t, major infrastructure upgrades, and execution of strategic contracts.
Responsibilities
- Align cross-functional teams including Operations, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, and external partners
- Own full project financials, including CAPEX planning, forecasting, and cost control
- Lead selection, negotiation, and management of contractors, EPC firms, and key suppliers
- Manage complex commercial agreements tied to strategic initiatives
- Drive schedule adherence, quality standards, and safety compliance
Requirements
- 10-15+ years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on capital-intensive projects
- Proven track record delivering projects exceeding $15M in value
- Experience managing multi-site or geographically distributed projects
- Expertise in CAPEX project planning and execution
- Financial management and cost control expertise
- Ability to operate at a senior leadership level with minimal supervision
- Ability to travel regularly (20-40%) across assigned project locations (2-3 sites)
- Flexibility to be based at a primary site while supporting multi-location execution
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
- Advanced stakeholder management, including executive-level communication
- Solid understanding of construction, industrial systems, and infrastructure projects
- Risk management and problem-solving capability
- Influence and alignment across diverse, cross-functional teams
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field ( Master's preferred)
Compensation
- The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls.

- The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $ 100,800 to $ 171,700 + 15%-20% bonus in Virginia.
