About the role
- The Network Engineering Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing our network engineering team.

Responsibilities
- This role involves managing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.
- The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, drive innovation and lead strategic initiatives to support business objectives.
- Plan, design, and execute network infrastructure upgrades, expansions, and optimizations to improve performance and reliability.
Requirements
- Proven experience in network engineering, with a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructure in an ISP environment.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security ( e.g, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPNs).
- Hands-on experience with network hardware and software from Vendors like Cisco, Juniper, and Arista.
- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN and network automation
- Knowledge of Internet Governance and Policy (e.g. IRR, RIR, RPKI)
- Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Nice to have
- Data Center Experience
- Ansible and/or NetDevOps experience
- Relevant network engineering certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, JNCIE, or equivalent certifications in DDoS mitigation platforms.
- Service provider experience, preferably in a Data Center environment.
- Advanced skill level with Cisco iOS, iOS-XR, and/or Nexus OS (NX-OS)
- Ability to work well within a team environment in a matrixed organization.
