About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation of complex, loosely scoped problems without guidance
  • Write well-tested code and pipeline designs without guidance
  • make confident technical decisions and validate assumptions with stakeholders where needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, ML engineering, or a related field
  • relevant advanced degrees contribute to required years of experience.
  • Track record of independent delivery with evidence of enabling less experienced teammates.

Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
  • writes clean, well-tested code without guidance and provides guidance to others.
  • Solid experience with data pipeline development and ML workflows (feature pipelines, model inputs, data preparation)
  • growing MLOps proficiency.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native platforms (Databricks preferred
  • AWS or Azure broadly).
  • Independently learns and evaluates new technologies
