About the role
- Pitney Bowes is seeking an onsite Industrial Maintenance Technician, 1st Shift in our Levittown, Pennsylvania Presort Services facility.
- Your hourly pay rate is $29 with the possibility of overtime.
- Your 1st Shift work schedule will be Sunday through Thursday from 6:45AM - 3:15PM EST.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the spare parts/supply inventory utilizing Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
- Perform complex mechanical and electronic repairs of conveyer machines, PLC systems, and other industrial types of electromechanical production equipment (Mail Sorters/ Printers)
- Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations on industrial machinery including belt/pulley systems, hydraulic and pneumatic components, motors, photo-eyes, relays, drive assemblies, limit switches, proximity sensors, and solenoids.
Requirements
- Perform all additional duties as required.
- Minimum of 2 years' direct experience troubleshooting and repairing complex industrial mechanical equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, charts, service manuals, and parts diagrams.
- Familiarity with Windows PC environment as it pertains to the operation of automated equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems, establish priorities, and work under deadline pressures.
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodations.
- The ability to walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodation.
