About the role
- This Opportunity WSP is seeking a Deputy Safety Manager to join our Construction Management team in Herndon, VA.
- This role will be physically reporting to our client site.
Responsibilities
- Support the Safety Manager in overseeing safety and security activities for contractors and project personnel assigned to the Long Bridge Project.
- Assist in implementing construction and rail safety policies, procedures, and programs established for the PMSS and Design-Build teams.
- Assist in developing and implementing corrective actions and mitigation measures to address identified risks.
- Deliver and support safety orientations, toolbox talks, and other safety training activities for project personnel.
