About the role

  • Aypa Power, a Blackstone portfolio company, is a leading developer, owner, and operator of utility-scale energy storage and hybrid renewable projects that power our communities and cities.
  • We have been at the forefront of energy storage development since our first energy storage project came online in 2018.
  • The position will work closely with FP&A, Accounting, Development, Operations, and IT to ensure our planning systems enable scalable forecasting, reporting, and financial decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain complex financial models, dashboards, and reporting to support company-wide planning and analysis
  • Own and enhance budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes across the organization
  • Develop scalable self-service reporting and analytics capabilities for finance leadership and executive stakeholders
  • Define and maintain financial planning system architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and data integrity
  • Manage system configuration and integrations, including calculated accounts, versions, security, and data pipelines
  • Develop and execute the FP&A planning technology roadmap, driving automation, enhancements, and continuous improvement
  • Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Accounting, Development, Operations, IT, and data teams to deliver scalable system solutions
  • Lead user enablement, documentation, training, and ongoing system support to ensure strong adoption and performance.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in the United States is a requirement.

Nice to have

  • Serve as the system owner and primary administrator for Workday Adaptive Planning, including architecture, metadata, security, and governance;
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field;
  • 5+ years of experience in financial systems, FP&A systems administration, or finance technology roles;
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes;
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling;
  • Experience managing financial systems governance, data integrity, and model accuracy;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a high attention to detail;
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders;

Compensation

  • A base salary commensurate with experience;
  • Bonus: An annual bonus will be awarded based on individual performance and the overall success of the business;
