About the role

Vantor is forging the new frontier of spatial intelligence, helping decision makers and operators navigate what's happening now and shape what's coming next.

The ideal candidate will contribute to solving challenging problems involving imagery, spatial data, sensor modeling, and AI-enabled workflows while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Design, develop, and optimize image processing algorithms.
Collaborate with software engineers, geospatial specialists, and product teams to develop scalable solutions.
Participate in system design, code reviews, and technical discussions.
Support the validation and testing of algorithms to ensure accuracy, robustness, and performance.

2-5 years of relevant industry or research experience.
Experience working with or supporting sensor models.
Strong statistical background, including experience applying statistical methods to engineering problems.
Strong mathematical foundation with the ability to apply quantitative methods to technical challenges.
Experience designing, implementing, and validating algorithms.
Experience with multivariable and physical statistical models.
Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools and AI agents used in engineering workflows.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively on multidisciplinary teams.

Experience transitioning research concepts into production software systems.
Experience working with AWS cloud services.
Experience with Kubernetes and containerized application environments.
The listed range reflects the expected pay for this position, and final offers will be determined based on each candidate's experience, expertise, and alignment with the role.

Starting pay for this role will fall within the listed range and will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions.
Candidates who meet the minimum requirements for the role should not expect to receive compensation at the top of the range.
The listed range reflects the expected pay for this position, and final offers will be determined based on each candidate's experience, expertise, and alignment with the role.
The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $102,000.00 - $136,000.00 - $149,600.00 annually.
