About the role

  • Orla operates the Camino Rojo Oxide Gold Mine, a gold and silver open-pit heap leach mine, located in Zacatecas State, Central Mexico.
  • This low-cost operation is 100% owned by Orla, covers over 139,000 hectares, and includes a large sulphide mineral endowment located beneath the oxide resources.
  • This project is part our larger South Carlin Complex which includes a prospective land package.

Responsibilities

  • Through principles of inventory management, propose and implement improvements to processes around storage, loading/unloading, controls, risk aversion and warehousing tasks.
  • Perform daily checks on warehouse equipment like forklifts, trucks, power jacks and stak system, making sure flaws are reported and equipment is available for scheduled preventative maintenance.

Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of five years' warehouse experience.
  • Working knowledge of legislation requirements under Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Strong commitment to working in a safe, socially responsible manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Forklift operator certificate would be an asset.
  • Willingness to communicate, learn, and be innovative.
  • Ability to lift heavy items (50-70 lbs.) with assistance.
  • Working knowledge of PC software (Microsoft Office and SAP).

Compensation

  • The base salary range for this position is CAD$70,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.
  • This role is eligible to participate in the Company's annual short term incentive program. The target annual bonus for this position is 10% of base salary, subject to individual and company performance.
