Responsibilities
- Maintain the highest journalistic standards in every story you cover. We expect you'll report stories accurately and honestly, treat sources with fairness and empathy, hold yourself accountable when you make a mistake.

- KGW is looking for a creative, driven and curious news reporter who can shoot and edit his or her own stories.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or related field
- Strong understanding of journalism ethics and best practices with a minimum of three years of experience in broadcast journalism or a related field
- Experience with shooting video, video editing, and web content management systems
- Ability to generate creative, engaging, content-driven live shots
- Ability to calmly handle live, breaking news situations and changing events
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work days, nights, or weekends as needed
Nice to have
- Knowledge of ENPS, Edius, Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop a plus
Compensation
