About the role

  • We are seeking a mid to senior-level AV Installer to join our Edmonton team.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for installing audiovisual systems in conference rooms, classrooms, and other meeting environments.
  • You'll also work closely with and mentor junior installers, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cable pulls, solder, crimp and terminate audio, video and network cables
  • Maintain daily communication with Scheduler, Installs Manager and Account Managers on status of project and task lists

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs and work on ladders and lifts
  • Willing to work out of town, occasional overnight travel may be required

Nice to have

  • Minimum of 1 year of audiovisual integration experience
  • Avixa CTS, CTS-I, Crestron, Biamp, Extron, QSC, Dante
  • Any industry recognized training is preferred: Avixa CTS, CTS-I, Crestron, Biamp, Extron, QSC, Dante

Skills

  • Ability to work and think independently and work under tight deadlines
  • Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
  • Knowledge of low voltage systems and signal flow for audio, video and control
  • Troubleshooting, quality checks, servicing abilities, problem solving abilities
  • Must be organized and detail oriented
  • Willing to mentor Junior level installers
