About the role
- We are seeking a mid to senior-level AV Installer to join our Edmonton team.
- In this role, you will be responsible for installing audiovisual systems in conference rooms, classrooms, and other meeting environments.
- You'll also work closely with and mentor junior installers, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Perform cable pulls, solder, crimp and terminate audio, video and network cables
- Maintain daily communication with Scheduler, Installs Manager and Account Managers on status of project and task lists
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and work on ladders and lifts
- Willing to work out of town, occasional overnight travel may be required
Nice to have
- Minimum of 1 year of audiovisual integration experience
- Avixa CTS, CTS-I, Crestron, Biamp, Extron, QSC, Dante
- Any industry recognized training is preferred: Avixa CTS, CTS-I, Crestron, Biamp, Extron, QSC, Dante
Skills
- Ability to work and think independently and work under tight deadlines
- Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
- Knowledge of low voltage systems and signal flow for audio, video and control
- Troubleshooting, quality checks, servicing abilities, problem solving abilities
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Willing to mentor Junior level installers
