About the role
- This role is integral to ensuring that Amadeus remains compliant with employment-related legal standards while supporting our strategic business goals.
Responsibilities
- Draft updates of Employment Handbooks in US and Canada, and collaborate on updating handbooks throughout LATAM.
- Manage employment-related litigation and administrative proceedings:
- Manage discovery process.
- Manage responses to inquiries by state, federal and local administrative agencies (including agencies throughout the Americas).
- Manage and coordinate Company's response to inquiries and investigations by the Department of Labor, EEOC, or other state or federal agencies, including agencies throughout the Americas.
- Minimum of 3-5 years' work experience in providing expert legal advice and support on a wide range of employment law matters
- Advanced communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and build consensus with a variety of stakeholders

Requirements
- About the ideal candidate:

- This role is structured as an independent consultant engagement.
- Candidates must operate through an established business entity (e.g., LLC, corporation, or equivalent legal business structure) and be able to provide valid business registration documentation upon request.
- Experience with commercial real estate law is plus
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations throughout the Americas
- Previous experience in performing legal research using critical thinking, analytical skills, and attention to detail
- The ability to assess risks associated with business activities and advise a company on managing those risks
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, AI functional competencies
- Ability to travel 10% of the time
