About the role

  • Our teams take on challenging projects that keep communities safe, supply chains moving, and the country connected.
  • Subsequent projects will be nationally based. - Travel - This role will be expected to travel to project locations and regional offices - Construction site environment - physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, reach and climb.
  • Exposed to high noise levels. *These positions are subject to the Navajo Preference in Employment Act (NPEA).

Responsibilities

  • Support a team consisting of Project Manager, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and other staff
  • Build relationships and communicate with owners, design partners, subcontractors, & workforce
  • Identify critical work items, and procure long-lead items
  • Manage document control including submittals schedules, contract documents, and shop drawings
  • Attend and/or lead meetings

Requirements

  • Must have a positive attitude and possess excellent motivations skills
  • Possess high attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in construction
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent experience
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Construction site environment - physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, reach and climb.
  • In accordance with the NPEA, preference in hiring and employment shall be given to enrolled members of the Navajo Nation who meet the minimum qualifications for the position applied for.
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral
  • Time Management, multitasking, and prioritization are crucial
  • Competent in the use of computer software applications used for project control and administration, including Microsoft Applications and Outlook
  • Knowledgeable in Primavera
