About the role
- Our teams take on challenging projects that keep communities safe, supply chains moving, and the country connected.
- Subsequent projects will be nationally based. - Travel - This role will be expected to travel to project locations and regional offices - Construction site environment - physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, reach and climb.
- Exposed to high noise levels. *These positions are subject to the Navajo Preference in Employment Act (NPEA).
Responsibilities
- Support a team consisting of Project Manager, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and other staff
- Build relationships and communicate with owners, design partners, subcontractors, & workforce
- Identify critical work items, and procure long-lead items
- Manage document control including submittals schedules, contract documents, and shop drawings
- Attend and/or lead meetings
Requirements
- Must have a positive attitude and possess excellent motivations skills
- Possess high attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in construction
- Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent experience
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Construction site environment - physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, reach and climb.
- In accordance with the NPEA, preference in hiring and employment shall be given to enrolled members of the Navajo Nation who meet the minimum qualifications for the position applied for.
- Strong communication skills both written and oral
- Time Management, multitasking, and prioritization are crucial
- Competent in the use of computer software applications used for project control and administration, including Microsoft Applications and Outlook
- Knowledgeable in Primavera

- Location - This project is located in Farmington, NM. Subsequent projects will be nationally based.
