- The Coordinator is responsible for providing coordination and oversight for the assigned hospital's disease-specific program.
Responsibilities
- The Coordinator will drive current certification through performance improvement activities and standard compliance.
- Regularly performs tasks to ensure efficient operations of all aspects for the disease-specific program.
Requirements
- Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of California required.
- Thorough knowledge of TJC Disease-Specific and other regulatory requirements.
Nice to have
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of California required.
- Clinical Nurse Specialist/Nurse Practitioner certification preferred.
- Previous program development and implementation experience preferred with a minimum of four (4) years of clinical nursing experience.
- Recent experience in acute clinical neurosciences preferred.
- Knowledge of Institutional Review Board regulations and experience with screening and recruitment of patients into clinical trials preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of clinical pathway development.
- Demonstrated teaching experience in acute care and community settings.
- Complete understanding of acuity levels for both inpatient and outpatient populations.
Skills
- Demonstrates skills and knowledge in management theories, practices and techniques.
Compensation
- The hourly rate for this position is $72.45 - $90.00. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the target for new hire salaries for this position.
