  • The Coordinator is responsible for providing coordination and oversight for the assigned hospital's disease-specific program.

Responsibilities

  • The Coordinator will drive current certification through performance improvement activities and standard compliance.
  • Regularly performs tasks to ensure efficient operations of all aspects for the disease-specific program.

Requirements

  • Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of California required.
  • Thorough knowledge of TJC Disease-Specific and other regulatory requirements.

Nice to have

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of California required.
  • Clinical Nurse Specialist/Nurse Practitioner certification preferred.
  • Previous program development and implementation experience preferred with a minimum of four (4) years of clinical nursing experience.
  • Recent experience in acute clinical neurosciences preferred.
  • Knowledge of Institutional Review Board regulations and experience with screening and recruitment of patients into clinical trials preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of clinical pathway development.
  • Demonstrated teaching experience in acute care and community settings.
  • Complete understanding of acuity levels for both inpatient and outpatient populations.

Skills

  • Demonstrates skills and knowledge in management theories, practices and techniques.

Compensation

  • The hourly rate for this position is $72.45 - $90.00. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the target for new hire salaries for this position.
