About the role
- Our personal care and household product portfolio includes baby diapers, wipes, feminine pads, paper towels, bath tissue, adult incontinence products, laundry detergents, fabric finishers, and dishwash solutions.
- In addition, we manufacture certain raw materials and components used in the manufacturing of these products, including flexible print and packaging solutions.
- Operator Technicians are responsible for operating more than one type of machine in more than one department in a safe, competent, efficient, and productive manner.
Requirements
- Ensures process and product quality checks are performed as required.
- Maintains any required record keeping.
- Properly trains other Process Operators and other team members as required.
- Relieves other team members for break periods as required.
Nice to have
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Mechanical aptitude including ability to operate a forklift.
- Mathematical skills to operate and understand Laboratory testing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team oriented environment.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot problems.
- Basic computer skills.
- Work rotating 12.5-hour shifts, switching from nights to days consistently.
