About the role

Role This role is for a Data Analyst on a close-knit team supporting Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) at Hurlburt Field, FL.
This team is at the center of helping the command empower and leverage its data for more effective analysis and decision making.
As a subject matter expert, the Data Analyst will leverage their experience to gather and derive insights from complex data, assist the command with development initiatives, and facilitate digital transformation efforts.

Data Analysts will perform the following duties:
Design algorithms and data manipulation capabilities using R, Python, C++, JavaScript, Go, and other known programming languages
Build data solutions, tools, and capabilities to enable self-service frameworks for data consumers to monitor and report on data
Work collaboratively with other data coworkers to produce qualitative and quantitative data that support SOCOM and AFSOC products.

Minimum of 1-year experience is required.
Possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a computer science discipline or equivalent.
Experience providing services similar in required tasks, scope, and complexity.
At least "Interim Secret" w/in 30 days of hire is required.

Identify new sources of data and methods to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting
