Responsibilities

  • Wellmark is building innovative, modern solutions using cutting edge technology.
  • In this role, you will play a key part in translating UX and visual designs into scalable, accessible, and high-quality code-ensuring a seamless implementation of our design system across digital products.
  • You will maintain and evolve the codebase, contribute to documentation with clear code examples, and collaborate closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders to prioritize and implement enhancements, features, and fixes.
  • You'll also lead code reviews, advocate for best practices, and stay ahead of front-end trends to ensure a modern, cohesive, and user-centered digital experience.
  • Build several Design systems - transforming static design elements into interactive code components.
  • Previous experience troubleshooting and developing creative technical solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships to reach outcomes that gain the support and acceptance of all parties.
  • Ability to collaborate and work as a team to accomplish goals and/or solve problems.
  • Ability to support and work within a diverse development team model including global staffing, crowd sourcing, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or direct and applicable work experience.
