About the role
- Its Kodiak Driver is a vehicle-agnostic autonomous driving system that combines AI-powered software with modular hardware.
- Today it operates in long-haul trucking, industrial trucking, and defense.
- In 2024, Kodiak launched commercial Driver-as-a-Service operations with no one in the cab, and plans to launch driverless long-haul service between Dallas and Houston by the end of 2026.
Responsibilities
- Execution at scale: Own the product lifecycle from opportunity identification through deployment and iteration - holding the bar on quality and metrics across multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Product definition: Author product requirements that set a high standard for rigor and customer fidelity. Partner deeply with Design and Engineering leadership to ensure architectural decisions reflect long-term product needs, not just near-term scope.
- Travel: 10-20% travel to Kodiak commercial deployments and customer sites to maintain operational intuition and customer proximity.
- This is a senior individual contributor role with organization-wide influence - you will not only own a critical product area end-to-end, but shape how Kodiak thinks about product strategy, customer deployment, and the path to scaled commercialization.
- You will be the most senior product voice in the room for your domain, setting direction that other PMs and cross-functional leaders align to, and operating as a trusted thought partner to the VP level and above.

Requirements
- you have changed the direction of a program or product area through the strength of your judgment and communication, not just your title.
- Background in engineering, computer science, or a related field required.
- Demonstrated organizational influence: Track record of shaping product strategy and roadmap decisions at the VP level and above
Compensation
- Competitive compensation package including equity and annual bonuses

- $180,000 - $240,000 USD

- Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors including: work location, experience, relevant training, education, skill level and performance during interview.
