About the role

Responsibilities

  • Execute high-volume outbound outreach campaigns to build candidate pipelines for active and future roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and align on candidate profiles
  • Manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously with a focus on speed and quality
  • Build and maintain structured pipelines of passive candidates for recurring and hard-to-fill roles
  • Coordinate interviews and support candidates through the hiring process to offer acceptance

Requirements

  • Success in this role requires consistent outbound activity and the ability to generate qualified candidate pipelines across multiple concurrent roles.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred, but not required
  • Experience recruiting for engineering, construction, utilities, or other technical roles strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively source candidates and generate pipelines through outbound efforts
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence passive candidates
  • Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment with clear activity and output expectations
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) preferred

Compensation

  • The base salary range for this role is $52,000 - $60,000 annually. This range represents a good-faith estimate at the time of posting
  • actual compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base salary, the role includes eligibility for bonus incentives, a comprehensive benefits package, and a company 401(k) match.

  • Position Overview
  • CARIAN is seeking a Technical Recruiter to support high-volume hiring across power utilities programs.
  • Typical roles supported include Distribution Project Managers, Transmission & Substation Project Managers, Project Controls Analysts, Schedulers, Cost Engineers, Construction Managers (Overhead and Underground), Data Analysts, and Engineers supporting utility capital programs.
  • This role requires urgency, consistency, and a strong work ethic to deliver results.
