About the role

  • We look for individuals who have proven management skills, including recruiting, training and mentoring of junior staff.
  • The individual will work with senior management consulting professionals on a broad range of valuation engagements.
  • Business and Personal Development - Actively participate in BRG's business development activities, including client meetings and presentations. - Be ready to expand your network with clients to become a trusted and reputable advisor.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed financial models to value companies and complex securities.
  • Direct junior staff in developing detailed financial models to value companies and investments.
  • Efficiently manage the aggregation and organization of large data sets in Microsoft Excel.
  • Maintain an organized, methodical and professional demeanor.
  • Effectively manage the deadlines of the project tasks undertaken by junior staff.
  • Participate in a team environment and collaborate to share responsibilities towards attainment of team goals.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or other related field of study;
  • Three to five (3 to 5) years of prior valuation work experience is required, preferably with a national accounting firm or valuation firm;
  • Experience as a key team member leading the development and ultimate completion of client-ready valuation deliverables (or similar client service deliverables)
  • Candidate must be able to submit verification of his/her legal right to work in the U.S., without company sponsorship.

  • Significant progress toward a ASA designation or similar designation will be looked upon favorably.
  • Salary range is $90,000 - 160,000

  • Salary range is $90,000 - 160,000
