Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains software applications that support the organization's business objectives by writing code, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure consistent and lawful products.
- Collaborates with software development engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on-time and within budget parameters.
- Coordinates with executive-level management, senior individual contributors, and stakeholders to gather and document customer requirements for software solutions and applications.
- Designs and architects software solutions that are scalable, reliable, and maintainable by leveraging software design patterns and architecture principles that drive continuous improvement and organizational advancement.
- Monitors and maintains software application performance by troubleshooting issues, providing technical support to end-users, and ensuring that applications operate smoothly.
- Identifies areas for improvement in software applications and processes, implementing changes that drive efficiency and productivity and align with the organization's goals and critical deliverables.
- Drives innovation and improved software application quality by remaining abreast of emerging technologies and software development trends.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills
- Creates and executes test plans, ensuring that code is tested, validated, and software application quality meets organizational standards and required regulations.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification/equivalent experience
- Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) preferred.
Compensation
- $79,310.00 - $158,620.00
- This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
- The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
- This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
